Profile optimized for Extrudr PLA High-Speed on the Prusa MINI+ (Bowden-style extruder, 0.4mm nozzle, no enclosure). Retraction increased to 3.5mm to compensate for the MINI+'s Bowden tube path — manufacturer baseline of 0.6mm applies to direct-drive setups only; typical Bowden PLA retraction on the MINI+ ranges from 3.0–4.5mm. Retraction speed kept at manufacturer-recommended 40 mm/s to avoid grinding. First layer temp raised to 235°C for improved bed adhesion on the PEI spring steel sheet; bed temp raised to 60°C for first layer then drops to 55°C. First layer speed set to 30 mm/s for reliable adhesion. Cooling fan delayed for first 1–2 layers; run at 100% from layer 3 onward for optimal overhang and bridging performance. Max volumetric speed capped at 21 mm³/s per manufacturer TDS for 0.4mm nozzle — this limits effective top speed to ~262 mm/s at 0.2mm layer height and 0.4mm line width; PrusaSlicer will automatically throttle speeds to respect this cap. No bed adhesive required per Extrudr. No enclosure concerns — MINI+ is open-frame by default, ideal for this filament.
